Taxi or Truck?

Since we do not have a vehicle, we have become accustomed to the daily transportation of taxis or walking on foot. In the mornings, Bill takes Ellie for a walk downtown to run errands. A taxi ride to anywhere in the city costs $1, and we call the same taxi company everyday (we know their phone number by heart). They know exactly the location of our house, and we know many of the drivers by name! This year to date, we have taken 687 taxis and many bus rides outside of the city.

As many of you know, we have been praying that the Lord will provide the finances to purchase a double-cab truck. The most popular brands here are Chevy and Mazda. Continue to pray with us that the Lord will provide the rest of the needed funds, and that we will be able to find a truck in good condition in His time.
