We visited a museum in the town of Guano (20 minutes outside of Riobamba). The museum exhibits include many different artifacts--one of them being this mummified body.
Friar Lazarus, a priest, served in the Guano monastery from 1565-1572. His body was discovered preserved and fully intact between the monastery walls after an earthquake completely destroyed the monastery.

If Friar Lazarus had a son, would this be his mummy or daddy?
