There are 13 names on the
presidential ballot this year, just a small percentage of Ecuador's many political parties and groups vying for representation in the government. In recent history Ecuador has struggled to keep a president in office, as it is difficult to keep the majority of the many people groups happy.
Every time we step out the door we are surrounded by billboards and walls painted with campaign ads. Elections are just around the corner in October, so we would greatly appreciate you joining us in prayer that the Lord's will would be accomplished for Ecuador!

Thanks for the postings and pictures. You sound excited and pleased to be in Ecuador. When I was in elementary school our family had a dog named Taffy who looked quite a bit like yours. I wrote a poem about her in second grade.
