In the small town of Guano about 20 minutes from Riobamba, they practice the art of rug making. In each of the shops, there are looms to make the rugs. It takes 2-3 workers 6 days to make a big rug laboring 8 hours every day. We bought an area rug for the dining room, and the rugs made in Guano are gorgeous!
