On Sunday we held a joint baptismal service with the Riobamba North and South churches. The service was held alongside a river near the active volcano Tungurahua -- what a beautiful backdrop! The river water was freezing and we were glad that the sun came out to warm things up a bit. Bill had the privilege of baptizing a couple of people that he has weekly studies with. It was encouraging to hear each of the 12 people baptized give a clear testimony of how they came to trust Christ as their personal Savior and how their lives have changed.

Praise the Lord! What a great testimony to your faithfulness and God's work their in Ecuador. I enjoyed seeing these pictures.
I am glad I didn't have to get in that river! I went rafting once here in Peru in glacier feed waters and I think I have been cold blooded ever since.
Thanks so much for your comment and we greatly appreciate your prayers.
Yes, the river water was freezing but definitely worth it! The hypothermia wore off after time--ja ja!!!
That is awesome guys! Man... it warms my heart to know my childhood buddy and his wife our ministering on the mission field. That is GREAT! Your Dad looks great sporting the Eagles attire! Boy the kids have grown up so much. Hey check out my church and my website at www.fbcbeechgrove.com Let me know when your going to be in the states and I will have you present your field before the church.

Praise the Lord!
May God bless these 12 for their obedience to Him.
My coldest baptismal service ever was in the Sun River just outside of Simms. That experience made KBC in January seem like a hot tub.
