This past week we went back to school. The girls have purchased all of their school supplies and we were able to get school uniforms for them free of charge from the clothes exchange at the school. Ashley is in 8th grade and is excited about taking drama and choir this year. Laura loves her teacher, Miss Bobo, and is anxious to make new friends. Elise is in morning preschool and stays for an afternoon nap and play time. Bill has a full load teaching Spanish with 2 classes on "A" days and three classes on "B" days. He is learning how to develop lesson plans and each days brings another learning curve. Tracy is enjoying staying home with Joanna during school hours, and she has put her name on the substitute teacher list so she can fill in where needed. We are so thankful for the Lord's provision for every need.
Tracy has rejoined her previous oil painting class on Thursday afternoons with her parents, and now Ashley has begun as well. Ashley will also be helping in the AWANA program on Wednesdays working with K-2nd graders, and is looking forward to joining the youth group on Monday nights. Tracy will be playing in the handbell choir this year as well as singing in the adult choir. She was also asked to consider teaching or co-teaching the 5th & 6th grade Sunday School class, so she is praying about that. Bill will be meeting with our pastor to see how he can be of service at the church. Laura and Elise can't wait for AWANA to start in a couple weeks.

Glad to hear Ashley is helping with the Sparkies. Might she be following in the footsteps of her U.D. in leading game time?
