Been thinking about citizenship and residency lately. Two months ago we turned in our paperwork to apply for residency visas. Last week we were able to drive up to the capital city and pick up our new residency visas at the lawyer's office. These visas stamped with the official seal and signature of the General Director of Migration are valid for an indefinite period of time. These visas do not have to be renewed every two years like our previous ones. We will also receive a national ID card which will make business transactions less of a headache. This is an answer to prayer and we thank God for granting us our new visas. It also serves as a reminder that our citizenship is not here on earth but in Heaven.
