Seasons

In Ecclesiastes 3 we read that for everything there is a season--a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to harvest . . . Where we live near the equator we experience spring-like temps all year round. We do not experience the change of seasons--which we miss sometimes. The season of summer brings shorts, swimming, and watermelon. The change of fall introduces crisp winds, colorful foliage, and apples. The season of winter brings below-zero temps, snowmen, and icicles. The spring season marks new buds, green growth, and life.

Seasons come and seasons go. There is a season for everything and constantly changing. Verse 11 tells us that, "
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end." What a promise! God is still working on us to make us what we ought to be that will last for all eternity. The question I pose to you is what are you doing today that will have an impact for eternity?
