Upside down

(Pencil drawing courtesy of Ashley)

FYI: Ashley is taking a drawing class online and is learning how to draw on the right side of the brain. She drew this turtle upside down on the first try.

This poem appeared on my friend, Philip Brande's website:

The day is young

The week is younger

and even though you try and try again

push and push

talk, hoping to convince

pray and pray some more

some things are still set in motion

because the path was already being taken

before they came to you.

The best that can be done at this point is

to work to stall

what is coming to pass

with the fool-hearted hope

that change will occur

and turn to the direction

God desires.

Awesome picture.... Great job...

Yea, I wrote that on a day I was really sad, I wish I could speak words that would magically change how people view the direction they are taking.... I wish they would choose to handle things differently and avoid the train wreck that is a head for them... The one they don't see comming.

Thanks for letting us borrow it. It is sad to see a person heading for a train wreck and they don't even know it is coming. Praying for you!
