Praise Him, Praise Him!

Praise the Lord, we have our renewed visas in hand! We dropped off all of our paperwork to the lawyer in Quito last week, and he was able to get everything processed in just one week. So we now have valid missionary visas for two more years. Bill and Ashley took a trip to Quito on Tuesday to pick up all of the paperwork, and we are now able to leave the country July 31 for furlough in the States. Thank you all for praying!

We also praise the Lord for his hand of protection on Gabriella, our co-workers daughter, who spiked a very high fever on Tuesday and had a seizure as a result. When it happened they were right across the street from a clinic/ER and were able to get immediate attention there. They were also accompanied by a man whose wife has seizures, so he knew what to do to help Gabriella regain consciousness and start breathing again, even before the doctor got there. Even amidst a very scary and difficult situation God is watching, protecting and helping. We praise him that after a few hours with an IV and some medication Gabriella is doing well.
