Day by Day

One of our favorite hymns is "Day by Day" by Karolina W. Sandell-Berg:

Day by day and with each passing moment,
Strength I find to meet my trials here;
Trusting in my Father's wise bestowement,
I've no cause for worry or for fear.

Day by day, step by step, moment by moment. It is easy to get caught up in our problems, trials, and circumstances. We forget to trust God and have faith that He will do what He promises. Here are some "day by day" verses:

(1 Chron. 12.22) "For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God."

(2 Chron. 30.21) "And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD."

(Ezra 6.9) "And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:"

(Neh. 8.18) "Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God..."

(Luke 11.3) "Give us day by day our daily bread."

(2 Cor. 4.16) "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day."
