The "Herd" is On the Move

It has been a busy couple of weeks in the Coupe household. The pets have been "taken in" by nationals who will care for them while we're gone. The girls have had their final sleepovers and are busy seeing friends this week for the "last time" for awhile. We have started saying our goodbyes to the nationals here, which is always hard.

We have been renting a house, and since we will be in the U.S. for 10 months we felt it best not to continue renting while we're gone. We will be looking for another house to rent when we return, hopefully one closer to the south end of town where we will be concentrating our efforts. In the meanwhile, our co-workers, the Mayfields, have graciously offered to store our things in their garage, as well as housing us for our last 3 nights here. So today (Monday) is packing & moving day, and tomorrow we will clean, paint and make a few minor repairs. Wednesday we will be finishing last minute details, and then we head to Quito Thursday morning.

Our first flight will take us from Quito to Panama City where we change planes and fly to Los Angeles. We arrive at midnight, go through customs, and crash on the floor of the airport while we wait for our 6:30 am flight from LA to Salt Lake City. We should be catching a glimpse of SLC out the window of the plane at about 9:15 am on Friday!

But wait! . . . . . That's not all! Tracy's parents will pick us up at the airport, then we head to their home where most of us will crash and rest and relax. Bill, however, will grab a quick shower, pack a small bag, head to the DMV to renew his license, then head BACK to the airport to catch a plane to Nashville, accompanied by our good friend Bob. They will be picked up in Nashville by a friend who will drive them to Memphis where . . . . Bill will pick up the van being provided for our use for our entire furlough! Then he and Bob will spend two long, full days driving back to Utah . . . . . ROAD TRIP!!!!

We covet your prayers through these next hectic days, for health and safety, patience and wisdom, and above all, that God's will be done.
