The First 48 Hours

Wow, what a first 48 hours our family spent traveling to the States. Here is what our travel itinerary looked like:

  • Quito to Panama City
  • Panama City to Los Angeles
We arrived in L.A. around midnight, went through customs, and spent the night in the airport waiting for our next flight to leave at 6:30 A.M.
  • Los Angeles to Salt Lake City—we arrived without any problems and so did our luggage. On the way home, Bill stopped at the DMV to renew his driver’s license, took a nap, organized his backpack, and jumped on another plane with his friend to pick up the van leased to us. Their trip was:
  • Salt Lake to Las Vegas
  • Las Vegas to Nashville—A friend pickup them up at the airport and they drove four hours to Memphis. At Memphis, they picked up the van and ate breakfast in Arkansas. The next two days, Bill and Bob took turns driving the van back to Utah. They arrived at Tracy’s parents house exhausted—WHEW!
