Church Minga

On Sunday we held a "minga" or work day after the service. Everyone pitched in and helped clean up construction debris in the back patio area where the kids class usually meets. We tossed bricks from the patio area below up to the flat roof to build a little storage shed. Then we moved all of the leftover building supplies to the newly constructed shed. What a blessing it is to work together, enjoying fellowship and seeing the old adage lived out -- "Many hands make for light work!" Then, as is the tradition after a minga, we were all served a delicious meal -- roasted pork, corn, and beans -- YUM!!
