Ring . . . Ring

Did you know that 9.8 million of Ecuador's nearly 14 people have a cell phone? It is astonishing to see how many people and children own at least one! Cell phones are more popular and easier to obtain than a traditional land line phone. The majority of cell phone subscribers use prepaid monthly cards ranging in denominations of $3-$30. Text messaging is very common and Bill receives many text messages a week.

What would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
  • What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
  • What if we flipped through it several times a day?
  • What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
  • What if we used it to receive messages from the Text?
  • What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
  • What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
  • What if we used it when we traveled?
  • What if we used it in case of emergency?

Excellent comment - I have been memorizing a Psalm a month - how many have memorized many phone numbers - I also know of a girl in our middle school (and I had this confirmed) - she would get on e thousand - yes one THOUSAND text messages a day - I guess you could say that is texting "without ceasing." - ghood postings - I liked Ashey's poem also.
